These are the instructions that we send out with our frozen drink machine. We have included them on this page to give you an idea of how easy it is to run our frozen drink machine.

  1. Make sure the unit is level and plugged into a dedicated, grounded electrical outlet. If an extension cord is necessary, use no more than one 50’ 12 gauge cord.
  2. If you are using the drink mix provided by Professional Party Rentals, please follow step 2a. If you are supplying your own mix, please follow step 2b.
    1. Pour ½ gallon of drink mix, approximately 2 gallons of water, and desired amount of alcohol (no more than ½ gallon) into mixing tub and stir. Pre-cooling the mix will reduce the freezing time.
    2. The primary factor for freezing your mixture is the sugar content. The mixture needs to have at least 33 grams of sugar per 8 oz. serving. Adding too much water will often decrease sugar content per serving. If you are unsure of the sugar content of your mixture, it will require trial and error. Please make your first batch as early as possible in order to be prepared for your event.

  3. Fill the hopper (top of the machine) with product.
  4. Turn both switches to the right; "snowflake" position.
  5. After product is frozen (approximately 30-45 minutes) sample to check consistency. If product is too thick, turn Mix Adjustment Screw counter-clockwise about 2 turns. Resample after a few minutes. If product is too thin, adjust clockwise and resample.
  6. Sit back, "pour yourself a cold one," and enjoy!
  7. When the orange light on the machine lights up, repeat steps 2 and 3. The machine is designed to run continuously, so you don’t have to worry about down time.
  8. If you need to keep your mixture frozen for a long period of time while not serving drinks, leave the bottom switch on snowflake and turn the top switch to off.

Note: One ½ gallon of mix makes approximately 32 12 oz. servings. Drink production is approximately 80 servings per hour.
